With so many tools to choose from, it can be difficult to streamline your creative process and concretize your digital footprint. Below are the six major tools that make life easier for this bookworm. Behold the tech stack!

Microsoft Office

For over a decade, I have been using Microsoft Office for everything from rough drafts to swipe files, making it the core of my toolkit. I have extensive knowledge of and experience with Word and PowerPoint, and I’m also comfortable with Excel.

Google Drive

I use Google Drive predominantly for file sharing, be it an outline or an article. If it can’t be done in Microsoft Office, the Drive does the trick.

Mailchimp

Mailchimp is my favorite tool for designing and sending newsletters, as well as creating email lists. My author newsletter, Dear Kindred Spirit, ships out on the 21st of each month. (Psst… become a subscriber and receive a free bookmark download!)

WordPress

Oh, and welcome to my WordPress site! I’ve been blogging, adding to my portfolio and taking on freelance clients here since 2017. Years before that, I ran my original WordPress site, Dancing Angel, where I chronicled my pre-pro dance experience.

Zoom

My tech stack would not be complete without Zoom, my go-to platform for video conferences. It’s straightforward, easy to use and perfect for recording interviews. In fact, it’s how I wrote this article without forgetting any important details.

Canva

Because I like putting text and photos together. Here’s just one of the images I created in Canva for this article:
