Christmas is said to be the most wonderful time of the year, and I agree. Who doesn’t love sparkly lights, and hot cocoa and cheesy movies that get cheesier every year?

One of my favorite things about Christmastime is the music. Holiday songs are so joyful and beautiful, and I always feel lighter when I hear them playing in the car, in stores, in the dance studio and on my own keyboard. So, I’m switching things up a little bit today and counting down my top five favorite Christmas songs. Here they are!

5. Joy by Cindy Morgan

“Make a joyful noise
Born this baby boy
Sing in mighty voice:
Joy, joy, joy!”

Listen to it here with fun lighting by eShepherds of Light.

4. Snow Scene by Patrick Thomas Hawes

This one is an instrumental, and I’ve never been able to find it on YouTube, but you can find it on Spotify!

3. Silver Nights by Sabrina Carpenter

“You’re the best present ever
Life’s a snowglobe when we’re together
Like a Norman Rockwell picture”

Listen to it here.

2. When Hope Came Down by Kari Jobe

“All of the angels lifted up their voices
And filled the night with hallelujahs
God is with us now”

Listen to it here.

1. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Frank Sinatra

“Through the years we all will be together
If the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough,
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now”

Listen to it here.
